The Rainy Season

So there are some drawbacks to hiking in the rainy season... namely getting mud all over you anytime you try to hike anywhere. Here we are at the end of a supposedly "easy stroll to the beach."
It might have been easier had we not gotten lost in the jungle for two hours, which included our discovery of the abandoned crew housing for Survivor, Panama.

Seriously, there was a Survivor Panama and the abandoned crew housing is freakish because it´s still used occasionally so there´s all this stuff there but no one is around and it´s in the middle of this really desolate jungle spot (well, we got to it the back way, the front way was not so desolate). For instance, there was a half-full bottle of sunscreen and an empty vodka bottle on the table, but they both had a month´s worth of dust on them. Super Twilight Zoneish.

Another month without a post... I feel like I'm watching Lost...

D,

Lost is the perfect reference to this place. I kept on expecting the others to come out of the swamp and grab us.
